My approach to wedding videography is simple: relaxed, unobtrusive, and stress-free. I’ve been doing this for a while, and I’m there to enjoy the day alongside you — without ever taking it over.

You won’t find me interrupting your moments or pulling you aside. Most couples want their day to flow naturally, and that’s exactly how I work. I blend in, capture what’s real, and let you enjoy every second.

And just so you know… I come prepared. Yes, that includes emergency wipes for red wine mishaps — because dance floors, uni friends, and full glasses don’t always mix. I’ve got your back 🙂

On the day, my focus is on the genuine moments — the hugs, smiles, laughter, and quiet interactions that often mean more over time. These are the moments that bring your film to life and make it timeless.

Then comes the evening — the excitement, the first dance, and the chaos that follows when everyone floods the dance floor. I love documenting that energy too. Your highlight film should make you smile… and maybe even get up and dance in your living room.

Here's a cherished memory from Ultan and Freya's wedding at Cissbury Barns. Just before the bride made her entrance, I noticed the groom's reaction was about to be extraordinary, so I made sure to capture that moment—one of my favourite groom reactions. That's why I'm excited to share this on my website. The tears of joy spilt over when Ultan first saw Freya. They both took a deep breath and were trembling, as everyone could see. But only when you watch the clip repeatedly do you truly grasp the significance of this moment. It reveals a lot about their relationship.

Quick tip: ask your videographer if they have multiple angles for the ceremony.

Dress reveal 👗

Capturing dress-reveal moments is always meaningful because they often evoke emotion, so I keep my camera running until I catch those genuine reactions. Choosing your dress requires effort and time, and once you put it on on your wedding day, it truly feels significant. To make this moment even more memorable, I suggest doing a dress reveal with family and friends so they can see you in your dress for the first time. Quick tip: inform your wedding organiser and hair and makeup stylists to add an extra 5 minutes to the schedule—these moments are too precious to rush.

All the fun stuff 🪩

Once the ceremony concludes and I’ve captured the anticipation and joyful tears, the fun really starts! If you have a lengthy list of group photos, this is the time to check that box quickly so you can enjoy spending time with family and friends without lengthy posing. While guests relax and mingle, I’ll take candid shots of their interactions and warm hugs.

Of course, lively dance-floor scenes are also a must for the wedding video. No pressure for the DJ :)
